I'm generally a fan of groups from my past reforming and touring, but I'm not sure I need to see the Sex Pistols doing a 30 year anniversary set of "Never Mind the Bollocks".
So Pirate Cat Radio was playing lots of great Joy Division (along with Bauhaus, Cabaret Voltaire, plus lots of great punk), but I just realized why.
In the news (unbelievably), Warner Bros tribute to Ian Curtis and Joy Division -- reissues. Undoubtedly one of the most influential bands of the 80's and still one of my favorites.

The girls are beginning to show some appreciation for music. Some artists make them smile, while others make them cringe. Here are a few that they are beginning to enjoy.
it may just be time to introduce them to the pixies.
Yesterday afternoon, the hospital called to let us know that the girls are ready to come home...today! another mad rush to babies r us to get final items, but we are so excited. We spent the night, boarding, in the NICU, where Michelle and I both discovered that the girls have become WAY more assertive over the last several weeks. They now have very little patience when it comes to having to wait for food. Another sleepless night...
Since we ended up having the girls about 7 weeks early, they beat us to the shower. Thanks to Vivek and Mona for throwing another great party for Michelle and I. The only parties they have thrown at their home have always been for other people. Thanks, sis (and to everyone else who made it out)! The girls are lucky to have such great family and friends. The girls are in these little isolettes (incubators) resembling little spaceships. When they are ready to fall asleep, they sometimes roll up into little balls and appear to be in a state of suspended animation. Preparing for lift off...
The nurses at NICU just love the girls. Michelle showed up after Naiyana had her bath and ended up with a cool little 'do.
Even though we're told that these girls are a healthy size in length, I am amazed by how miniature they really are. Their tiny hands are just barely larger than my finger nail (which do need trimming).
The girls look like their tanning under the Billy Ruben lights in their isolettes. Totally funny, because they end up with the funniest lounging poses.
